Toolchange Command for Custom Printer

Hi there,

I just start printing with Simplify and GCODE programming, I hope, the question is not too dumb.

As my printer (Cartesio E) is not listed, I wrote some custom g-code Pre and Postfix, which work fine. The machine has two extruders. And there comes my problem:

I want to print with extruder #2 only for now. Offsets and temperature set as they should on machine start. When starting to print, unfortunatly it does not start the filament drive #2 (not sure if it instead drives in Extruder #1). So, the extruder is hot, but nothing comes out of the nozzle.

I also do not find a M6 Command (or anything else which would tell the machine to change the extruder drive to #2).
Would be great to get some input on what I am doing wrong...

Re: Toolchange Command for Custom Printer

You just need to make sure that the primary and infill extruders are set for the T1 extruder. Then the tool change commands will be inserted automatically.

If you really can't figure it out, post your factory file

Yep, this was it, thanks.
I changed them to Extruder1 = T1 and Extruder2 = T2 (as I found that logical...).
Changed back, runs fine.

Thank you!
