Several times and for different models, S3D has printed the first top solid layer in parallel with the previous infill layer instead of printing it perpendicular to the previous infill layer. Obviously, this causes a visible rippling effect as the extruded plastic of the solid layer droops down through the gaps to the penultimate infill layer -- so much ripple that it is visible even through a second solid layer.
I can "fix" it by tweaking the layer height until I get the infill/solid interface back in sync, but I would hope the slicer would get this layer orientation right as a normal part of the slicing process.
Is there something I've overlooked in the settings that controls this behavior? I don't believe this was happening with pre-3.0 versions of S3D, but I'm not positive.
