I am printing a housing shell that has a slight indentation where the label is supposed to go. I am printing the shell face down in order to minimize the need for support.
The resulting piece has a very nice even and smooth texture on the surface built directly on the platform (glass with ABS juice). There is a slight, flat cavity that is intended to be used to attach a label. The resulting part has some coarse strings strung across the sticker cavity. There is also similar coarse string at the bottom of the supported surfaces. Are these intended to be removable supports?
If so any tips on removing these thin layer support structures? I have a tendency of mangeling the surface underneath when removing the thick strings.
