Replikeo I3 Dual extrusion (e3d chimera)

Hello,

I have a replikeo i3 with a chimera hot end. Because my printer wasn't included on the list, I created a new printer profile, selecting two extruders.

However, when I run the "dual extruder" setup, it says that my printer profile does not accept dual extrusion. Also the manual controls, it only shows one extruder on the printer visualization.

How do I set up my printer for dual extrusion with simplify3d?

also, how do I set the z-offset for my hotend
??

Thanks

Re: Replikeo I3 Dual extrusion (e3d chimera)

If I were you, I would start with one of the included S3D profiles. For example, choose the Leapfrog Creatr Dual since that's pretty similar firmware-wise. Then you can edit the settings for your printer like nozzle diameter, build volume, etc. That's probably the easiest way to get dual extrusion working.

And the z-offset can be found on the G-Code tab. The Z-axis global gcode offset. Increasing it will move the nozzle further away from the bed.
