How to get a nicer looking final top layer

I'm very happy with the way my printer is printing overall at this point.
Only room for improvement is on my prints the final top layer seems as though it could be a bit smoother.
It's not bad, I'm just thinking with a bit of tweaking it could be even better.
What things would I look at to improve the appearance of the final top layer?
