I feel like you should be able to select a profile(for a printer) then select a Process. I just loss all of my processes by adding a second printer profile as I had never had to 'update' the profile I was using. As soon as I added the second printer it overwrote the Processes.
Now that I'm getting into a second printer I feel it would be much more intuitive if you had basically your "Printer' or Profile Up top and once you selected it, then it showed associated processes, and allowed you to copy between them or make them global if necessary.
