I have just completed my first prints with Simplify3D on my Max Micron - Aluminium Frame Auto leveling Prusa i3.
But I have some issues that I don't understand.
First is that my prints are not printed in the center of the bed (as it looks in the preview), the print is moved approx 100mm further than it should be on the X-axis. I can't find the settings that can explain this.. or change this...
The other thing is that when I use the G29 for auto levelling it works fine in 3 of the 4 corners. In corner no 3 it behaves as there is no autoleveller and rams the extruder into the bed with some force..
I think these 2 issues might be related, but need to fix the first one first.

The auto-level issue is likely a hardware problem. Perhaps there is something obstructing the auto-level sensor, or that auto level location isn't wired properly. There's nothing the software can do to help you with that, so I would figure out that issue first.

For the centering issue, go to the machine control panel, click Home All on the Jog Controls tab, and then send "G1 X0 Y0 F3000" on the Communication tab. Where does the print head move to? Or does it stay put?

I put a tape on the bed where the probe is at position no 3 and now the Autoleveller works
I also tried the JOG Controls and it behaves as it should, when I don't use the "Prepare" on the LCD for auto home...
But as soon as I start my printing it goes +100 on the Y-axis....

You didn't answer the question above. Click Home All, then send "G1 X0 Y0 F3000". Where does the print head move to when you manually send the G1 command?

When it comes to the autoleveller I managed to get it working sort of... The reason it is not working properly is because my 3mm alu printbed is concave..
So until I have a replacement I have to use manual leveling.
Anyone know where to find a god level 3mm alu bed 250x250mm?

When it comes to my centering issue I think I know whats causing it, but don't know how to correct it...
When sending "G1 X0 Y0 F3000" on the Communication tab the print head stays put!
However, once I hit print it moves 55mm on the Y-axis (I wrote the wrong axis in my initial post, sorry) before printing.

There is something on my LCD control I think takes me to the core of the problem.... when I enter "Prepare" there is a option called "Set home offsets" and when pressed it gives off a tone. I have pressed this when at "home" (G28) and at different Y settings.
When I use different Y settings and press this I get different Y-axis travelling... So I think this is my issue. However I do not know how to set this value other than via the LCD press button...

Any takes on this?

I had a similar problem jamming the head down onto the bed on one corner. On my printer the auto-leveling sensor is mounted on the right of the nozzle and was traveling just slightly off the right edge of the bed (into space) and could not see the bed to tell it to stop. Moving the table to the right along the X axis so the sensor was always completely over the bed fixed that problem.

The firmware should automatically load the homing offsets after sending the G28 command. If that button on the LCD is changing the offsets after homing, then there's something fishy going on.

Go to File > Save Factory File.

I have attached the factory file.
I get a feeling that my printer doesn't realize that the bed surface is greater than 200x200 when the print command is sent...(my bed is 250x250mm).
After some more testing I have come to the conclusion that the printer will use the full 250x250, but it is offset by 55mm, see attached pictures in next post.
Is there a way to update the firmware on the printer?
