Question regarding pathing

Hello all,

I work in research and I am in the process of helping a company develop a new filament. What I am looking for is a software that will allow me to control the path of the print. For example, I need to make some tensile samples with the filament by making the paths all run in the same direction. Yes I understand it will be weak in other directions but we only need to test tensile strength. I have heard Simplify 3D is capable of controlling paths but I cannot find that feature on the site. Any help is appreciated.

It gives you more control over the actual infill patterns than most software. So in your case, it would be pretty easy to setup a print that only uses infill and only prints that fill in one direction. So I think it would work for what you're trying to do.
