Stretchlet slicing totally borked on OSX

Hi all! I'm testing out Simplify3D on a recommendation but come for 1 year+ slicing with Slic3r. I must admit, initial results are not good but still willing to see if I can work through it (already one detailed crash report sent!)
I'm trying to use print the famous Stretchy Bracelet on my Wanhao Duplicator i3. Slic3r outputted gaps in the g-code when I tried slicing it. Here's the output:

With a 1.1 scale I was able to print it nearly perfectly (maybe there's a wall thickness issue?):

On Simplify3D using the standard Wanhao Duplicator i3 process all the features are lost:

And scaling changes but really doesn't improve things:

Any ideas? I'm not giving up just yet but wondering if this software is ready for primetime on a mac. Hopefully it is just a n00b error!
