problem slicing shell 1.5mm extrusion width

The above (.stl and .gcode attached) shell structure is a simple tub of 1.5mm shell thickness, created in Autodesk Fusion360.

In Simplifiy3d nozzle width is set to 1mm (e3d Volcano) and extrusion width to 1.5mm.

Large sections of the flat sides (it is a rectangular cube with 10mm radius filleted edges) of the tub shape are missing.

If I reduce extrusion width to 1.49mm then it appears to slice correctly.

Has this unusual combination (large nozzles/single perimeters) revealed a slicing bug?

Its not a bug.....its the way the slicer works.

Thanks Doug.

A patient takes comfort when his disease has been identified and given a name!

Reading through the links it seems that there are a number of reasons why people moan about missing sections.

I fit into the category of:

1) There are now fat nozzles which means that it is not only folks who are "scaling down" who might want to print thin walls;

2) There is now a "Vase / corkscrew mode" in Simplify3d which is acknowledgement that in certain situations it is standard practice print at less than twice the nozzle diameter;

3) Unless Autodesk Fusion360 has produced an .stl with walls <1.5mm (it's not impossible - eg 1.4999 - but I don't know how to check that), then if Simplify works at 1.49 but not 1.5mm then that's a bug;

All bug fixing is probably according to priority. If the developers start using Volcano 1mm nozzles and end up doing more thin wall work, the priority will go up!
