UM2 ABS - Does this seem right?

I am able to print flawlessly in PLA at the Simplify3D setting of 41.5mm/s however I am not getting any decent prints with ABS at similar speed.

The picture below shows ABS being printed at 18mm/s and as you can see the interior support is not bonding. The outside is fine however.
Failed print at 18mm/s
Failed print at 18mm/s
Suggested options are:
- Alternate fill pattern (is rectiliniar the best for ABS?)
- Lower the print speed (I think 18mm/s is too slow)
- Increase infill extrusion width (currently at 125%)

Re: UM2 ABS - Does this seem right?

I would try increasing the temperature first. Typically, as you start printing faster, you also need to run the nozzle a bit warmer so that you can extrude the plastic quickly. Of course, lowering the print speed would also help or increase the infill extrusion width %.
