Start up script

I wish to heat the bed to temperature before heating the extruder. I tried adding the commands in the start up script but when I look at the code there is already lines above the start up script which heat the extruder first and then the bed, which is what I do not want to happen. Is there anyway of moving the start up script further up or deleting the lines above it.

The 3 lines of code in between the asterix are the start up script and I would like this to go under the G82 command.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Start up script

You can control where the hearing commands go by using the [extruder0_temperature] and [bed0_temperature] variables in your starting script.

For example, just put the following 2 lines in your starting script wherever you want them to occur.

Code: Select all

M190 [bed0_temperature]
M109 [extruder0_temperature]

Re: Start up script

There's an option: go to Edit Process Settings / Temperature and check "Wait for temperature controller to stabilize before beginning build" for ALL temperature controllers. No need for scripting.
