Been messing with the dense layer options on supports and i noticed that the dense layers build in the same orientation as the underlying sparse support layers. That means much of the dense layer is just falling in the gaps. Dense layers, it seems to me, should always build perpendicular to the underlying sparse support structure.

I have a perpendicular layer landing every 5 in the ANGLES list and with 5 dense support layers that guarantees at least one will build across the supports, but it should be the default orientation, IMHO.

Hmm... it works correctly for me. The dense layers are ALREADY perpendicular to the normal sparse support. Maybe you have some odd setup with your support fill angles that is causing it..

Can you attach a factory file?

I'll play around with it a bit to see if I can find a pattern to the madness - and will share any FFFs that demonstrate bad behavior. Thanks.
