connect da vinci 1.0A problems

hi Everyone

I have problems connecting my da vinci
sometimes it connects straight away othertimes it won't
I have the right com port and baud/bit rate
any ideas?

I've never had any problems connecting to mine.

What firmware are you using?

whatever came with printer didn't know u could change it
