How to solve filament droop

Hello,
I have a problem with the underside of my part that I'm printing. The filament at a certain point in the print tends to not stick and droop which causes the underside of my print to look stringy. I have attached a image. I see there is a bridging option and wanted to know would I have to lower this to get the layers to stick. I'm running my nozzle temp at 230 degrees with 0.2 resolution.
Thanks

Re: How to solve filament droop

Printing at a lower layer height will help with overhang performance and keeping the layers bonded together. Based on your picture, I would NOT recommend using the bridging stuff, as that likely won't help with a part like yours.

You may also have to add some support structures if a lower layer height doesn't solve it.
