Getting Macros to stick?

I apologize if this is already posted someplace but I searched and didn't find an answer to my question.

I am using S3D and a Makergear M2 printer. I have discovered the awesome feature of Macros that I can set in the Firmware settings. Only problem is that after every print they get deleted. I looked at the video someone posted showing how the firmware takes it settings from the print settings. But that doesn't help me any.

I gotta believe there is a way to tell it to save these settings for the macros so that I don't have to keep manually updating them after every print. Its quite annoying.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Getting Macros to stick?

You have to actually Export your new firmware configuration with the new macros and then edit your profile to use that new config. This video walks through the whole process: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYPUAqT4UyI
