[SOLVED] S3D slicing error, outter shells not properly worki

I have a perfectly flat object (lofted it myself out of a 2d shape, it is 100% flat!)
S3D somehow creates several additional layers on the top and bottom (sides) of the print.
You can also see that phenomenon on the failed brim which only covers a part of the prints.

Just slice the model and watch from side, you can see 3 layers there that should not be there on top.
Then watch it in layer #1 view after slicing and you can see the brim is attached to these "abnormalities" and the remainder of the object floats in air.

Caused a huge mess in my printer when I didn't notice it, no bed adhesion.

Why does S3D add additional layers on top and bottom of the print ?

Re: wrong object slicing ? uneven layers ? factory included

Adding after more observation:
I think it's indeed a slicing error of s3d.
I tried slicing it in 60um parts, same results.
I tried 100 and 0% infill, same results.
Tried disabling top layers, same results.

It seems to be a failure related to the shells, the two outer shell lines create a mess when finishing/starting the project

Re: S3D slicing error, outter shells not properly working

Your shapes may be flat on the bottom, flat on the top, and have the top and bottom parallel....but if they're not placed flat on the bed, they're not going to slice how you want then to slice!

S3D does not have a slicing bug!

yes your model is rotated and not flat on the bed. here is a side view.
