iirc the last update was 3.0.2 and that was a long time ago.
When will there be a new version?
The only people who announce hard release dates for s/w updates before they are actually completed (or ready for beta testing) are the ones who like to have people angry with them.mroek wrote:It would have been nice if the S3D team would share some information along the way, though. I'm fully aware of what you are saying here (also a developer), but there is always a middle road. At the very least, the strategy you mention in your last paragraph is a good one. This is how Onshape works. Every few weeks they release some new features, which is cool. Inbetween they also roll out bug fixes.tenaja wrote:The only people who announce hard release dates for s/w updates before they are actually completed (or ready for beta testing) are the ones who like to have people angry with them.mroek wrote:It would have been nice if the S3D team would share some information along the way, though. ...although I never really understood the idea of releasing numerous unrelated updates all at once. The way I write code is a little at a time, and I always (try to) get one section completed before moving on to another. (Unless, of course, you charge for every update...)
