M3D printer issue

I am unable to use my Simply3d program with my micro despite it being advertised and shown as compatible. I am getting the following error
Connection Failed: Failed to connect to the machine, Have you selected the correct port and baud rate? Is your printer plugged in and turned on? Yes it is btw. Has anyone dealt with this and figured out how to fix this issue?
