Recently I have started to have an issue with white marks on my ABS/ Printing at 230 bed and 100 hotend. I can get most of it off, but its the face side of my items and all of it cant be removed simply by scratching my nail on it. Other wise by prints are proper. Event occurs on really small as well as upto 2 1/2' tall items. Any suggestions would be GREAT. Printing on PEI by the way and in between print a soft wiping with running alcohol. ABS is IC3D which has always printed proper...happens on all colors so doubtful it color or lot/batch related sine of different date purchses.
Much Thanks!

If it aint broke, dont fix it. However, I did request my account to be upgraded to 3.0...but never got that email. Any thoughts on the topic at hand? Been printing for the better part of a year and all of a sudden seeing these ill effects...no just on 1 printer...on 3. All use same PEI on glass and ABS materials.

Do you see these white marks on the surface that touches the hot bed? I see similar marks, not related to Simplify3D, I think it is from the stress on the ABS when removing from the bed. Try to heat the bed before you remove the parts, does it get better?

Thanks for the reply.
I print on glass and then PEI (shiney side). Very light sanding with i think 1500 grit and then wipe with 91% rubbing alcohol in between jobs. Once the print job is done, i dont remove until the temp is atleast 50 degrees. Same process for a long time and my printers run mostly 24/7 for my items as well as custom jobs.

I think there is some logic on being impatient here. Came home to a 29 degree bed and no markings. Odd, 50 degrees has always been my sweet spot to remove from bed.
