Da Vinci 1.0 with repetier firmware not connecting

Hi everyone, I am new to S3D, but am looking forward to using it.
My issue is that I have a XYZ Da Vinci 1.0 that I flashed with repetier FW.
S3D pre-configured for the Da Vinci when I installed it, but the printer will not connect to S3D.
I have done the following:
- verify the printer serial port as 18
- verify the baud rate set in S3D is the same as in Repetier host
- verify that I can still connect to the printer from Repetier host without anything changing.
So the bottom line is that I've used Repetier host on my Da Vinci 1.0 (flashed with repetier firmware), but I cannot connect to the printer with S3D.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

did you check the baudrate setting in the firmware that you flashed it with. it could be as simple as that.

Thanks everyone. In the end, I'm not sure what got it working; It could have been the restart (computer and printer), or going through and slightly changing some of the S3D settings. Either way, it is working now.
Thank you again for you help.

Hi, somebody can post de complete configuration for this team (davinci 1.0+repetier 0.92+s3d 3.1), because I have "some" trouble, like pause in the middle of print, and too much plastic in small circles... I do not know if I did well flashing...

I have this very same issue... I have tried everything I can think of including using slower baud rates etc.
Repetier Host connects every time no problem.
I don't know what to try next and I guess since I'm a new customer that has wasted 2 days on this I should just ask for a refund.
PS. I'm running Mac OS 10.11.5

All I had to do to get my repetier davinci 1.0 to connect was set the baud rate to 115200, then go to Tools > Firmware Configuration, click on Communication tab, and set the flow control option to "hardware flow control". Then I saved that, and opened the machine control panel. Make sure the printer is already turned on and not connected to any other programs (since you can only connect to one at a time).
With that change, it connected and printed just fine

To get mine to work I downloaded a frm file and an fff file from s3d. Then I installed linux and arduino to the linux drive. Reinstalled s3d to the linux drive and presto, it works fine. Getting it to work in windows - not yet.
