slight bands aligned with tops of holes in part

2 * 2 * 5 cm cuboid with various holes in each of the faces

Printing in light gray Colorfabb XT (quite demanding - shows details easily & can easily collect into blobs) with 0.2mm layer height & 3 perimeters.

Trying to improve the results.

Basically it seems that whenever something "happens" inside it shows on the outside. For example if in contact with the inside perimeter there's a bit of a junction point for infill, with paths going off in all directions, then there'll be a sign on the outside.

What's really bugging me is that wherever there's a hole in a vertical face (these holes go through and out the other side of the part) then there is banding (in the form of the tiniest bulge) level with the top of the hole which then carries for a way along the part.

Any suggestions as to how to deal with this sort of problem?

Perhaps you could try adding a few more outline perimeters. That may help hide what happens on the "inside" ;)

You're right, that should work.

Feels like cheating, though.
