ARRGGGG Printing issues

O.K. So I run through the Print an open square and get the thickness of the sides turned down, Extrusion multiplier (.92) . Now the bottom of my parts is showing Over Temperature symptoms, the bottom is melted. And the more I try to print it goes around the 3 different sides! I slowed the Print speed down to allow the medium to cool and the results are not improving.

Thanks Michael :- )

Re: ARRGGGG Printing issues

I think some more information would be useful so that the "gurus" on here can offer some advice.

What printer? What material? Are you using an unmodified or modified stock profile? What changes have you made to the profile?

And a factory file would be useful,,,,so at least there's something the guys here can see. (File dropdown==>Save Factory file)

PS photos the right way round might also be helpful.

Re: ARRGGGG Printing issues

What base are you printing on? Glass, tape (aka painters tape, Kapton, etc) and as said above what are the specs?

I've been printing for years so I know my printers (FFC and FFCP) pretty well but my buddies have different models (aka homebrews, RepRaps, etc) so I've seen alot.

I'm new to S3D but can tell the symptoms usually.. sometimes its mech issues like a temp sensor going out of wack and getting to hot.

But let us know what the gear is first ;)
