Simplify3D User Forum

When I'm enabling retraction I get tiny holes in my print as if part of the layer is missing.

I did some searching and the only thing matching my problem was this:

This picture is speaking about humidity in the filament, which might be true, but when I'm disabling retraction I don't get these holes.

I tried playing with many settings, but nothing worked...

Help?

That looks like you probably have either too much coasting or your extra restart distance is a really big negative number (like -0.5mm). So try lowering the coasting distance if you have it turned on and try setting the extra restart distance back to zero. If you still have trouble, try increasing the extra restart distance to a positive number (like +0.5mm) and see if that helps.
