I want to ask for the option to use PVA (or other water soluble filament) only for selectable amount of top and/or bottom layer of the support structure. See my sketch picture attached.

This will have huge improvements:
+ Time: Less printing time due to less extruder change
+ Costs: Reduce amount of required (more expensive) PVA filament
+ Quality: Less PVA/PLA or PVA/ABS pollution for the layers where PVA usage is avoided

It is nice to see on twitter that this feature is planned to be available soon.

But it is really disappointing to get zero feedback on feature requests raised in this forum.
Especially for the features which are planned to be made availalbe in future releases.

The motivation to post new ideas and feature requests is going down to ZERO.

As for the features requests on this forum, our development team reviews the new posts on this forum every single day to make sure we are aware of any features that have been requested. Of course, we are also looking for feedback from other users to know which topics are the most popular with the community! I have a feeling this specific thread was not very active because there are at least 5 other topics requesting the same feature:

So if there's already another topic requesting a feature you are looking for, try to post your feedback there instead. That keep things organized and helps our development team know which requests to focus on.

Without the keyword "PVA" in subject it's very difficult to find similar requests.
Anyhow ... the more feedback you will provide to your customers ... the more they will like to contribute.
No feedback is bad feedback.
