Cube 3D Printer

Does Simplify3D work with the cubify software for the Cube 3D printer last gen? If so how well?
I once tried printing a tiny model of a polygonal baulbasaur and it never printer correctly because it began printing in the air and didn't start the supports before the actual print and I've always thought that it was because of the slicing of the model since I just downloaded it from thingaverse.

Re: Cube 3D Printer

I've talked to several users who started using S3D with their Cube printers, since they got fed up with the stock software. The slicing program can make a big difference, and most of them thought it was a huge improvement.

The process is probably similar to what you do with the CubePro
- use S3D for all model processing and to create your BFB files
- then use the CodeX utility to convert those into the new binary format the latest Cube and CubePro machines use
- put that new binary file on your printers USB drive and start printing!

More info about the process at the link below. Again, many people use the same procedure for the Cube that is described in that link for hte CubePro since they use the same file format.
