Frequently we slow down the first layer to help it better stick.
But the XY movements can be (relatively) brusque and tear off the last millimetres of track that have been laid down, particularly at higher layer heights.
It would be nice, I think, to be able slow down XY movements for the first layer only, without slowing them for the rest of the print.
