Multipart Sequential Printing

I have some short skinny objects I want to print. I ran the numbers and I should be able to do 3 on the bed "FULLY" sequentially without any crashes so long as the printer is smart enough to not "go" into the zone of a previous printed object. (small keyfob about 2 inches tall off the bed

if I print one at the front left corner then one at the center (y) right (x) section and then one at the rear left corner

the print head assembly and x carriage won't collide with a previous print. so long as it does not try to move into those quads outside of a print.

is it smart enough to do that?

So far its looking like its doing exactly what I hoped. oddly it prints all 3 rafts first but after that all support and model appear in the tool path preview to be as expected so I don't expect any collisions. we shall see.

I think I can get away with 4 one in each corner but figured for the first run don't press my luck and just leave it at 3 plus 6 hours is just right for me getting up in the morning then I can start another batch before going to work. Perfect!

fingers crossed.

Re: Multipart Sequential Printing

I forgot about this thread. it ended up working perfectly as expected. no issues

made one at a time just as the preview indicated.
