I had previously posted in another thread about my issue with S3D hanging when sending to my RepRap printer. I had reported that I had no comm. issue using Octoprint but would often hang at the start of a print just after the bed came up to temperature and before the extruder was turned on. This happened in 4 out of 5 prints I tried that day. Today I went back to S3D and had the hang again. This time I captured the log.
The log shows that the bed had been heating for some time but I have trimmed off a few thousand lines waiting for the bed to heat. Just after the bed reports OK S3D starts sending out a string of M220 with various percentages then finally times out. At line 123 is where I hit the Force Next button and the print continued to the end. I think I have counted Oks properly and there should be no command outstanding but it took the Force Next for S3D to issue the M104 to turn on the extruder heater.
Anyone have any idea why all the M220s ?
