Infill

I have been trying to get the infill to be 100%. I need the weight to keep the item upright. I have attached the factory file. The Bottom process should have 100% infill but it instead does not fill in the entire are.
PS - I know the Bottom1 process does not process the entire cone. The cylinder with the tabs is supposed to be basically hollow with 5% support material to support the top of the cylinder.

Thanks
Gerry

hiya,

this was not designed as a solid base. having said that I can see what you did there filling it with support material.

I am not sure what you were trying to do with the start stop function. as you were missing parts out.

so I gave it a guess and created my interpretation of what I think you were looking for.
I added some dense layers to the top half of the support structure. I don't think you would have gotten a top layer on what you had.

hope this is what you were looking for

if i managed to get it right and you want to know more of what I did. please send me a message and I'll be happy to explain.

Becky

Do you get what you're wanting if you use the Separate Connected Surfaces option on the Mesh dropdown menu????

The model as it is appears to have a large void inside it...which is why you get support instead of infill. Separating the meshes out, the slicer then merges them back together into a solid object.....and you get infill instead of support!
