Hi there,

Can someone please help

I have purchased this software as I have been told it works with all my printer, I have a BFB3000, 3D Touch and a cubeX but my main one is the 3D Touch but the profile I have does not work as it will not extrude but it does prime,
is this a ongoing problem?
does someone have a fix?
am I going to have the same problem with all my printers?

The cubeX is really similar to the CubePro, so I doubt you will have any problems with that one. You can probably just modify the current cubepro profile (or email support and maybe they already have a cubeX one)

The BFB3000 and 3D Touch are quite a bit older, so there's probably some differences with how they operate and what syntax they need. Best thing to do would be to compare a BFB file between all 3 machines to look for differences. If you post the BFB files here, other's can probably help too

please find attached g-code files for the same part.

my main immediate problem is the extruder doesn't extrude but it will prime before printing on my BFB 3D Touch

could some please have a look at the attached files as I have no experience with G-code and tell me what's wrong.

This probably wont fix all of your problems, but it looks like your test print -touch-bfb.bfb file has double line spacing (see screenshot) which is not right.

Ive attached a new.bfb file that is the same exact file as yoru test print - touch-bfb.bfb file except the line endings are fixed from 0D0D0A to 0D0A

Hello,

I received the software from simplify3D about one week ago and a took me some problems to get a working profile. At first I downloaded the profiles from here viewtopic.php?f=8&t=3113&hilit=tip+of+the+dayand used the dual extruder profile which is a bad untested profile. I encountered two problems an one of them was the line endings as suggested by BaudR8. To overcome this remove the line:

{REPLACE "\n" "\r\n"}

from the FFF settings in the tab Scripts.

The second problem was that the printer started to warm the third extruder before starting te print. To overcome this remove line:

M553 P64000 S600

from the FFF settings in the tab Scripts.

After doing this the printer started to print although the results was nog very good. With a profile I got from the support I adapted some filament settings and now the prints are better. Still some improvements needed, but it is geting better.
