Please implement adaptive extrusion width to fill small gaps on the perimeters. You should allow the user to select the minimum allowable extrusion width. This will greatly improve the surface finish on some parts.

The current implementation of gap filler (Thin Wall Behavior) by allowing a % of perimeter overlap does not work as well as the above recommendation.

I am happy to say that this feature was added in Version 4.0!

The size of the extrusion will be adjusted to perfectly fill the available space on the inside of the thin wall. You can see an example of this at the link below:

To enable this option, click "Edit Process Settings", go to the Advanced tab, and change the Internal Thin Wall Type to "Allow single extrusion fill". Once this setting has been changed, any thin walls that have small gaps will now be filled with the single extrusion fill.
