Long (24hr+) print from SD stops, incomplete

I'm trying to figure out what is happening, and am hoping someone can assist...

I'm running a 24hr+ print from SD using S3D (latest and previous versions both failed) and the print job stops before completion. It seems that with the latest version of S3D, I got a bit further (not sure if there is really a correlation)..

I've tried different SD cards too.

I'm running a Makergear M2 (dual)....S3D is running on a Windows 10 computer..

Is there a way to have S3D do a print from SD and then disconnect? I'm trying to determine if it is S3D's connection to the printer, or the printer itself having an issue....

Any help would be appreciated ...

Thank you

If you're printing from SD, then you don't even need to have the printer connected to your PC in the first place. That's what the SD card is for....to allow remote printing.

Sure, just start the print and then unplug the USB cable. The SD print will still continue running.

or better yet don't connect SD3 to the printer at all and just use the SD card.

I need S3D to initiate the print job on my M2...

I've been able to start the process and pull the USB cable, so I'm ruling out S3D....just waiting for the job to finish!

OK I'm unfamiliar with the M2. I have a duplicator and I can start a print on the SD card from the printer itself.

No worries...if I still had a LCD attached I could do that too.....
