Perimeter: 2x Thickness?

Usually I print 2 or 3 perimeters. These are printed at the same extrusion width as "normal." Is there a setting to adjust the perimeter width so I can print 2x thickness and halve the number of perimeters?

Do you really mean width?? I would think printing the perimeters at twice the normal width would be a very bad thing. You usually want to print with the smallest width you can on your perimeters, since that has a big impact on the detail and accuracy of your outer surface.

Yes, I meant width. You're right about detail, but in my case the shape I'm printing (cylindrical) would not benefit from narrower widths. Interesting point, though.

I think you'd want to use a larger nozzle diameter to achieve the twice the extrusion width. I use a larger nozzle for heavier prints so I can go wider and thicker to save print time.
