Is there any way to specify a printing order when multiple objects are getting printed all at once?

I have some discs that get printed in the air at pause layers. Their intention is to even out the flow of material through the nozzle after a pause. So I need these discs to be printed first on each layer, but I can't seem to find a way to force the order.

I've tried changing location of the two parts on the plate. That has random results for different layers. I've tried choosing a start point closest to the edge where I park the discs, but that doesn't work for all layers. I tried creating different processes for the two parts, but I can't seem to force an order of execution for those processes

Any tips?

If you have one process per item on the plate, then the processes will be printed in top to bottom order from the process list.

Thanks for the quick response. This sounds promising... maybe there is a way! I have 1 process for the priming disc item, but 5 processes for the 'real' item. Is that going to cause an issue?

My priming process is currently at the bottom of the list. Can I change its position, or do I need to recreate all processes in the specific order?

You will need to recreate the processes in the order you want. You can't reorder them afterwards.

Amazingly...."Oh yes you can!" Or at least there's a fudge that allow sorting......I found out purely by accident!

Add three processes....Process 1, Process 3 and Process 2 in that order.

To sort them, delete Process 3....and then un-delete using Ctrl-Z (or similar on Mac).

The un-deleted profile appears at the bottom! Sorted!!
