Beam and Column Problems for Houses

Hello everyone,

We recently purchased the flashforge dreamer and are using it to try to print our architectural models at 1/16" scale. We have reviewed all the troubleshooting tips as provided by Simplify3d and forums for how to resolve this issue. See attached images.

Generally, our issues with the houses are that we can never get the columns and beams over the columns condition to print correctly. Walls rarely come out straight, and the beams above the columns have been coming out messed up and unsuccessful. Consistency is an issue; parts of the house will either print decent while other parts of the house will print horribly and vice versa.

We have tried tinkering with all the settings as recommended by various users as to what they used for their process profile, but cannot solve these issues or maintain consistency. Generally, the default High setting is used as provided by Flashforge Dreamer. We are using ABS, and use a general layer height of .1 to .15 but have not seen any real difference between the two.

Any input would be appreciated. Thank you

Re: Beam and Column Problems for Houses

It's probably either an overheating or retraction problem
