Can't fix warping issue... Please Help!

Hi Simplify3D Forum! I need help with my 3D printing endeavors. I've been having this reoccurring issues with my prints, that is, the bottom sides of my 3D print just keeps warping (see picture). I've gone through the troubleshoot guide Simplify3D has, but I just can't fix it and don't know what to do. If anyone could help, I would be so grateful. Below are my printer specs

Model: Flashforge Dreamer
Right extruder temp: 220 degrees C (this used to be 230, but I thought by lowering it to 220, it would fix the problem, but it didn't).
Platform temp: 98 degrees C
Nozzle Diameter: 0.4mm
Extrusion Width: 0.4mm
Layer: 0.2mm
print speed: 3600mm/min

So what did you actually try from the print quality guide? I would imagine everything you need to know is already mentioned here: https://www.simplify3d.com/support/prin ... to-the-bed

The first few layers sticks fine to the bed. It's after around 1/4 of the way done when the bottom left starts to warp. Any idea?

This is common with materials that shrink as they cool (like ABS), and there's about as many proposed solutions as there are people with the problem. Glue/hairspray to hold it down better. Brim to help hold corners down against the shrinkage. Heated chamber to keep more uniform temperature/reduce shrinkage during the print. Different bed coatings like PEI/Buildtak/etc to hold it down better.

I assume you've looked at the linked section of the Quality Guide....but have you tried anything from it?

I would try a combination of three things...

Change the skirt into a brim - try half a dozen outlines of one layer
If you not done so already, thicken the first layer to 150% or 200% thickness at a speed of less than 50%
Add a touch of negative Global Z offset - say -0.05 mm. This will squish the first layer more into the bed.

You've not said what plastic you're using....but I'd guess it's probably ABS. I'm used to PLA....so I'd be guessing to suggest temperatures for ABS, but you're probably about right. If you're using PLA, kill the heated bed and set fan cooling off for the first layer, then on to max from layer 2 onwards.

Have you tried Builtak yet? It has the best adhesion of any material that I have used. You could also try to lessen the fill percent and the number of shells. The less material above the base the less pull or curl up. Oh and the Buildtak can withstand being heated.

Re: Can't fix warping issue... Please Help!

I have two printers (DaVinci and HicTop (from kit) - hacked both with customized firmware and print both ABS and PLA.

Had similar ABS lifting problems until I discovered (by trial and error) this is what worked for me (and is still working)...

1. Bed Temp for ABS: 92 C for first 10 layers, 80 for remaining layers
Bed Temp for PLA: 55 C for first layer, 50 for remaining layers

2. Extrude Temp for ABS: 240 to 250 C (depends on brand of filament)
Extrude Temp for PLA: 215 C

3. Glue Stick (Avery Permanent - have used most brands and homemade sauce but tossed all of them out after one year of using Avery Glue Stick

Ensure enough 1st layer smoosh into glass (by proper bed height adjustment)

Don't let ABS cool too quickly (if machine is not enclosed, build a container for it or wrap a towel around it to test it out, then build container if it worked...
