I've got 4-6 hours a day available for printing, due to the fact that I have to be near the printer because I don't trust my cats to leave it alone while I'm away.
Most of the stuff I print comes in multiple parts, each part taking anywhere from 1-6 hours to print. Right now I'm tracking the print jobs by writing down a list, slicing each job in Simplify, and writing down the print time expected. I then try to "bin pack" my jobs by hand when I sit down to print.
I'd love to see a tool in Simplify to assist in scheduling prints. I could load in a bunch of prints I need to print, then tell Simplify that I have 3 hours available. Simplify would then slice up all the models (seriously, your slicer code is amazing), figure out print times, and then suggest a sequence of prints. Perhaps even send the sequence to the printer with a pause between prints with a "Continue" button on the machine control window to start the next job.
It's batch jobbing combined with scheduling, and it'd be amazing, without needing to do part management by hand.
