Can I make settings changes while a print is running (USB) such as change retraction setting or maybe speed?

If your firmware supports it, there's a real-time speed override knob in the S3D machine control panel that you can use to adjust the speed on the fly. There's also an option to adjust extrusion as well

I've seen those but never tried.

Does the estimate of time shown on the Machine Control Panel change as the Movement Override setting is adjusted?
It doesn't look like it...

How do you tell if the firmware supports it? Does Marlin 1.1.9 support it? Aren't these "clone" 3d printers just about all running Marlin? This takes me back to the days of the IBM clone PCs.
When you say you can adjust extrusion, me, being brand new to this stuff, have no idea what that actually means. I don't know if my firmware supports it or not because I don't know what to look for when I adjust it.
