If I use the option "generate automatic supports", the support structures are often shifted a few millimeters like you can see in the picture. Does anyone have an idea why this happens?
The support structur is nearly as wide as the overhang, but because of the shifting, the half of the overhang is unsupported.

It wants to put two rows of pillars in so it overhangs a bit but you pillar resolution is too large. lower the resolution of the support pillars and it will put in a second row.
