at the moment I am struggling with the correct calibration of my Si3D.
Coming from a different slic3r^^ my usual way is:
- 1. Set Perimeter to 0.4 mm
2. Print 20mm Calibration cube, No top/bottom layers, 0% infill, 3 perimeter
3. Measure perimeter thickness equal to 1.2mm and good bonding between perimeter
4. Adjust extrusion multiplier according to thickness/bonding to get best bonding versus most accurate wall thickness
Next step is to check for 100% infill and here it shows that my path in each layer is too thin. On the quality guide they say rise the multiplier but if I do this my perimeter thickness (1.2mm @ 0.4mm / perimeter) will be way to thick.
So what to do?
Maybe I did oversee a feature like infill overlap, or infill extrusion width. From what I see is that the infill width should be a fraction thicker to get good results.
Bolt and extrusion is working fine otherwise.
I am thank full for any hint or advice
Cheers
