Simplify3D User Forum

Would have added to my other but still waiting on posting privilege.

This is happening to all my multi-layered prints.
I set the Layers and Outline to 4 but still happens.
The top layer is fine and solid, but that lower area is still thinned.
Increased fill % it helps but other than near 100% it happens.
Have allow gap filling On as well.

Any settings that would help?

For some it adds a nice effect but others leaves holes in things that should be solid.

Working on buildings for war gaming so the multi_layered roofs are common, and seeing this happen in all of them.

Read that page but my top layer is fine, it is that under one that has holes.

In the print preview it is listed as Solid Layer.

Will try increasing Extrusion, and see if that helps.

Was checking to see if there was a setting I was missing.
But that area does not seem to be a Top Layer or an Outside Edge so those did not work,
just making sure I did not miss something else before I am forced to print at 75 to 80% Infill to get it to work.

New print is going mover layers to 15 will see if that helps.

Setting top layers to 20 seem to have worked.

So if I have it correct, I have to set the layers to below the first flat area of the model.
Which is layer height x number of layers plus a few = to lowest flat area from the top down

On cold meds if that came out odd

But seems to be working and have Infill back down to 30%.
