Support is causing really bad side print

Hi

I've had these issues with S3D for a while now.. I've been able to slightly reduce it but still have it.
Basically sometimes when support is created, the extruder seems to missjudge where it needs to extrude the outline and it creates scars on the other side of the print. Please see photos below.
I've noticed that my layer seperation was set to 0.2mm. When I set it to 0.4 it improved but the scars are still there.. ANy advice?

Re: Support is causing really bad side print

Maybe you just need to adjust your retraction settings. It looks like it's just oozing too much when moving outside the model to the supports
