Multiple Processes - Multiple Bodies

Trying to create a single object from two bodies (not touching each other) using two different processes. See attached.
The outer body should print solid, the inner body should print with infill only. Idea is to create a porous surface bounded by a solid edge.
When the model is processed (both processes selected), the software does not print each process on the same layer. Is there a way to make this work? Thanks.
