Strings or Ooozes on a DaVinci Pro 1.0

Anyone have any suggestions on how get rid of these strings (assuming they are oozes)? I've been adding more and more retraction distance based on the troubleshooting guide. However, I'm already up to 11mm retraction and I'm wondering how much farther I should go?

I'm using a DaVinci XYZ Pro 1.0 and printing with ABS (210C) on a heated bed. 0.2mm layer height.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I had a similar problem and dropping the temp 5 degrees helped me.

I'd definitely lower the temperature.

What file are you printing? That looks like a pretty awesome piece of tabletop terrain.

Hi there!
I had the same problem. All things beeing unequal in the 3D-printing world you can try my current settings and hope for the best. :-)

I use this with 0,2 layer...

Extruder tab:
Retraction distance: 2,20
Retraction Vertical lift: 0,20

Temperature tab:
Primary Extruder: 220°C
Heated bed: 92°C

Other tab:
Default printing speed: 800 (i know, its a bummer but what to do...)
XY Axis Movement Speed: 2600
Z Axis Movement Speed: 1400
