I have a weird problem with my delta smoothie based machine.
I have in smoothie firmware setup gamma_max to 618,2. ( i got to this value when i calibrated the printer, and i understand this is the build height?))
So in simplify and repetiere i have build height set the same.
If i home the printer and manually step down to z0.0 the head is just touching the build plate as it should.
But if i home and G1 Z0 then the head is 0.5 mm above the plate and i have to step to -0.5 to have it touch the plate..
So to print correctly i have had to set simplify to to a negative global g-code (about -0.3 to -0.5 in the materials g-code tab to get all prints to stick.
But i don't know if the build height settings also affects the print dimensions.
I just reacted to this as i can't get a cura g-code to print at all in s3d. (it prints in space).
I have to print something that s3d can't slice (blender text objects) , but cura slice it perfect.
I think i really need some help in understanding the gamma value and height settings.
