How do i pan in creator software when using a mac air?

The support and forums say to right click but normally a right click on my mac air is done by holding down control and clicking but it doesn't work in creator. I have tried everything and can't seem to pan when zoomed in.

Any ideas?

I have right click as a two finger click on the touchpad and that works fine on my macbook pro - just push down the pad with two fingers and then move them around to pan.
