FFCP Dual extrusion. How do I set it up?

I recently purchased S3D for use with my Flashforge Creator Pro.
I am trying to print Ninjaflex with the right extruder and dis-solvable filament with the left extruder (for supports and ooze wall). Seems no matter what I do, the everything is printing out using the right extruder. I have S3D configured to print the ooze wall and support using the left extruder but it seems to ignore that.

Can someone please explain in detail how to use dual extruders for the task I need to do?

Thank you for your time
Bill

Well the dual extrusion wizard is really only needed when you are printing 2 different models with 2 different colors. If you just have 1 model and all you want to do is use a different extruder for supports, then you don't need that wizard at all. Just open your process settings, go to the Support tab, and change the Support Extruder to your dissolvable material. Then you can turn on the ooze shield on the Additions tab. I would leave that set to All Extruders, which I think is the default to make sure both nozzles are continually primed.

Also check on the main process settings page at almost the top right where it says extruders and make sure it is set to both.

Yup...that is exactly how I set up the print. both extruders, infill and layers are set to the right extruder, supports are set to the left extruder. It prints everything with the right extruder.

I even tried googling how to do this and there were a couple of posts in other forums saying that S3D is not that good with dual extruders. I hope that is not the case. For $150 I would think S3D should do dual extruding while making coffee and taking the dog for a walk.

Any other suggestions?

There's literally one one drop down you need to change, so it's pretty simple. I've used this hundreds of times before, so it definitely works.

Maybe you should post your factory file so that others can check your settings. That will make it much easier to give suggestions.

I'm starting to experiment with Ninjaflex to on my FFCP - Could you tell me what dissolvable filament you are using and how much success have you had?
