What is going on.

Hiya,
since the recent update S3D has crashed on me during printing. where previous I could print for hours on end without any crashes.
what on earth have you done?

I assume you are printing directly over USB?
If you can, I'd strongly recommend to use some memory device instead (SD-card, USB-stick, whatever your printer takes). Printing tethered is usually a bad idea for a number of reasons.
I doubt S3D has made any changes pertaining to this, but if you can use a memory device you will eliminate this as a source of failure.

hiya,
I have been using an SD card and it still crashes.
I'll be using the preview and it freezes and gone.
but it also happens when I am working on setting up my print.
will see if I can revert back and see it it crashes under 3,1,0

I have been seeing the same thing to a degree. Uninstalled, went back to last version. Then came back to this version and now it is behaving so far.
