Scaling/printing disconnect

Weird problem: I scale an object in S3D and set all parameters. I slice, and everything looks fine when I check the sliders. I Send to Printer and the print starts. As I check the print, I notice that the print itself and the display of its progress in S3D are getting more and more out of sync. The print becomes increasingly way behind the display. Then, when the display says the print is finished, the printer stops. But the print is only half done. This has happened with several objects, and I am unable to figure out what is happening. Can someone help with this?

Re: Scaling/printing disconnect

Well most printers usually buffer some commands (meaning they receive them, but haven't necessarily printed them yet). Usually, it's only 10-20 commands, so it's not a ton. But if you're doing a small print or something like that, then that could explain some of the difference.

If you watch the Communication tab in the machine control panel, you can see what commands get sent to the printer. I believe the preview is synced with that, so that's another easy way to see what it's sending and why the preview is at a certain location.
